See, my dad is a
But Liz loves sushi and I have this blog, and Dynasty Buffet has sushi.
I didn't eat much because I don't go in much for nori (seaweed), and there were a lot of other wonderfully artery-clogging foods there, but I did have a california roll, which for the un-sushi initiated looks like this:

Essentially crab, avocado, and cucumbers wrapped in seaweed and sushi rice. Consider it sushi for the weak.
I managed to completely dessicate mine because it fell apart, but all in all, it wasn't that bad. I'd have it again. It has a very clean taste, and kind of tangy. Then again, I like fish and rice.
I'll have to revisit this with different types of sushi, but all in all, I'm not quite sure why people hate it so much. If you can get over the mental block of it being raw fish you're fine; they use very clean fish. In fact you might not be able to tell it's raw fish at least in this type.
Of course, for the people who can't do regular sushi, there's always twinkie sushi.
(This trip became more interesting when we realized that, owing to our confusion over the prices, we didn't have enough. And the fact that Liz's fortune cookie said "Fortune is smiling upon you" seemed really funny...until her uncle picked up the tab. *cues Twilight Zone music* )
